Oh Mary!
You who in a special way,
has experienced
God as a father,
I implore you
to help me recognize
how the paternity of my father,
is a sharing of this great paternity.
I ask you
to intercede
for the health and intentions,
of my earthly father,
help him to be a good spouse,
a good father,
that he may advance day to day
on the way to holiness,
that he may give to all
witness of his Christian life,
help me with your maternal love,
to love him filially,
and to respect him
as he respects me
so be it.
