It’s undeniable that the Catholic Church in the United States— and the United States in general— is becoming more and more Latino. Statistics from the Pew Research Center suggest that in the not-too-distant future, a majority of U.S. Catholics will be Hispanic— even though, sadly, many Hispanics are leaving the Church.
Is the Church ready to welcome the booming population of young, Latino Catholics? This week on the podcast, we take the question to a Latino leader in the Church. Then, we speak to the founder of a new ministry called Isklai, which is empowering young Latinos to become leaders within their communities.
