National Prayer for the 2015 Papal Visit to Bolivia

This is the complete prayer released by the Bolivian Conference of Catholic Bishops to prepare for Pope Francis’ awaited visit to the country July 8,9, and 10.

"Bless, Oh Lord,
Pope Francis, the Shepherd that is visiting us,
So  he may be, in our midst,
The prophet that points to you
May his words guide us
His hands bless us,
His look show us his affection
So we may feel
That we are your people, Oh Lord.
Bring peace to our homes,
The warmth of home life to our families,
The joy of the Gospel,
To all of Bolivia.
May his journey through our country
Be a refreshing breeze.
And the Bread of the Eucharist,
Broken for the life of the world,
Be your Kingdom that we look forward to
May the God of life,
Jesus, his living image,
And the Holy Spirit
Accompany him on his way
Through these lands,
Blessed by his coming.
Amen."
