2025 Jubilee: Holy Year of Hope

The 2025 Jubilee officially opened on December 24, 2024, with the rite of Opening of the Holy Door of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter by Pope Francis in the Vatican, and runs to January 6, 2026, the Feast Day of Epiphany, with the Closing of the Holy Door. The Jubilee is one of the Catholic Church’s most significant celebrations, occurring every 25 years. The 2025 Jubilee will be centered on the theme “Pilgrims of Hope.”
