The oldest human being in the world is Sister Inah Canabarro Lucas, a 116-year-old nun from the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul who was born on May 27, 1908.
“We are hurting, traumatized, dejected, but not defeated, not destroyed, because whoever eats this Bread will live forever,” Father Aloísio Motta said.
The National Shrine of Aparecida in the Brazilian state of São Paulo inaugurated in a May 11 ceremony the new mosaics on its south façade.
“My secret, my great secret, is to pray,” says Sister Inah Canabarro Lucas, the oldest nun in the world at 115 years of age.
